1) PhD students Rotation students welcome! Opportunities are available to join projects investigating the earliest events that determine the left-right body axis and guide organ development. Using zebrafish as a model vertebrate, projects involve gene editing, microscopy of living embryos, optogenetics, biophysics, and analysis of single cell dynamics. 2) Postdoctoral associate A postion is available to participate in a multidisciplinary project with Dr. Lisa Manning’s physics group to use the zebrafish left-right organizer as a model organ to understand how biophysical forces impact cell-scale and organ-scale shape changes.
